International Trailer For AQUMAN AND THE LOST KINGDOM Offers a Whole New Perspective on The Movie
A new Chinese trailer for James Wan’s Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom has surfaced and not only is it packed with awesome new footage, it offers a whole new perspective on the movie. This trailer is very different from the ones that have previously been released and this is actually the best trailer that I’ve seen for the film. This is the kind of trailer that might get fans pumped up about watching the movie.
The trailer features Randall Park's Dr. Shin making a horrific discovery deep beneath the Earth's surface. It also shows Aquaman battling the shark character Karshon, and we also see Black Manta killing an important side character. The action sequences teased in this trailer, though, are really cool!
This movie will bring a close to the DCEU, and while it’s not expected to do well at the box office, the movie might be a lot of fun. We’ll find out soon enough.
In the film, “Having failed to defeat Aquaman the first time, Black Manta, still driven by the need to avenge his father’s death, will stop at nothing to take Aquaman down once and for all,” the official Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom synopsis reads. “This time Black Manta is more formidable than ever before, wielding the power of the mythic Black Trident, which unleashes an ancient and malevolent force. To defeat him, Aquaman will turn to his imprisoned brother Orm, the former King of Atlantis, to forge an unlikely alliance. Together, they must set aside their differences in order to protect their kingdom and save Aquaman’s family, and the world, from irreversible destruction.”
Jason Momoa stars as Aquaman in the movie and he’s joined by Patrick Wilson as Orm, Amber Heard as Mera, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta, Nicole Kidman as Atlanna, Dolph Lundgren as King Nereus and Randall Park as Dr. Stephen Shin.
Warner Bros. will release the film in theaters on December 20th.
