First Look at Mark Grayson's New Suit in INVINCIBLE Season 3 and Season 4 Confirmed
During Comic-Con, Prime Video revealed a first look at the third season of Robert Kirkman’s Invincible animated series. It’s a poster featuring Mark Grayson's new suit.
There aren’t any additional details to share as Season 3 hasn’t even premiered yet. But, it was previously reported that Prime Video renewed the show for Seasons 4 and 5. Season 4 was confirmed at Comic-Con and it’s good to know that the story will continue.
Robert Kirkman previously said that he’s hoping to do seven or eight seasons: “I’m trying not to pin it down to a number, because it is somewhat of a moving target. I think in the seven-to-eight-season range seems like it would be enough.”
He added: “But there could be some things we move through a little faster, some things we expand. If we’re fortunate enough to go for a good long time, I think that would be enough to cover the entire comic.”
He continued: “And there are some things along the way that didn’t get into the comic that I’d like to do. I think it’d be cool to have some episodes here and there that are completely original. So that’s part of the plan moving forward.”
He also teased: "We want every [season three] episode to feel like it's a finale. Season three is an absolutely huge season with so many crazy things that you won't expect.”
He added, “And where we leave things at the end of season 3… Oh my god, I cannot wait for people to see that stuff."
The story for the series “revolves around 18-year-old Mark Grayson, who's just like every other guy his age—except his father is (or was) the most powerful superhero on the planet.
“Still reeling from Nolan's betrayal in Season One, Mark struggles to rebuild his life as he faces a host of new threats, all while battling his greatest fear – that he might become his father without even knowing it.”
The series stars Steven Yeun, with Sandra Oh, Zazie Beetz, Grey DeLisle, Chris Diamantopoulos, Walton Goggins, Gillian Jacobs, Jason Mantzoukas, Ross Marquand, Khary Payton, Zachary Quinto, Andrew Rannells, Kevin Michael Richardson, Seth Rogen, and J.K. Simmons.
