INVINCIBLE Season 4’s First Look IMages Unleashes Thragg, Dinosaurus, and Universa

Prime Video has released a first look at Invincible Season 4, and it confirms the arrival of three major villains straight out of the comics.

Thragg, Dinosaurus, and Universa are officially entering the animated series, and they’re set to put Mark Grayson through his most punishing battles yet when the new season premieres this March on Amazon Prime Video.

Based on the comic series created by Robert Kirkman, Invincible continues to follow Mark Grayson as he learns what it truly costs to be a hero. Season 4 doesn’t ease him into anything.

Instead, it throws him directly into conflicts that challenge his strength, his ethics, and his idea of what saving the world really means. The newly released images don’t just spotlight the villains. They also tease the return of familiar heroes who are about to be dragged into these escalating wars.

Steven Yeun returns as Mark Grayson, once again carrying the emotional and physical weight of the series. He’s joined by returning characters like Atom Eve and Omni-Man, whose shadow still looms large over the story.

But the real shock comes from the villains being introduced, especially one name comic readers have been waiting a long time to see.

Thragg finally steps into the seires. A Grand Regent of the Viltrumite army, Thragg is widely considered one of the most powerful beings in the galaxy. After Omni-Man failed to conquer Earth, Thragg takes it upon himself to finish the job, and he doesn’t come with hesitation or mercy.

The character will be voiced by Lee Pace, making this long-teased arrival feel even more imposing. His presence signals that the Viltrumite threat is far from over, and Earth is now directly in his sights.

Season 4 also brings in a fan-favorite antagonist from the comics with Dinosaurus. Once a human scientist named David Anders, Dinosaurus can transform into a towering, red-skinned dinosaur driven by a twisted belief in forced human evolution.

He targets environmental and societal problems with extreme solutions, often resorting to large-scale destruction to push humanity forward.

His ideology puts him on a collision course with Mark, and their clashes are already confirmed for the new season. Matthew Rhys will lend his voice to the character, adding intensity to one of the series’ most morally complicated villains.

Rounding out the trio is Universa, making her animated debut in Invincible. Voiced by Danai Gurira, Universa is an extraterrestrial warrior who comes to Earth to harvest its energy in a desperate attempt to save her own dying world.

While her motivation is rooted in survival rather than conquest, her methods are devastating. That puts her directly at odds with Earth’s heroes, forcing Mark and the others to confront a threat that isn’t purely evil but is still incredibly dangerous.

With Thragg, Dinosaurus, and Universa now confirmed, Invincible Season 4 is shaping up to be one of the most intense chapters of the series so far. Mark Grayson is facing enemies who don’t just want to beat him. They want to reshape the world around him.
