It Looks Like Charlie Cox’s Daredevil Is Set to Appear in AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY

It looks like Daredevil is finally stepping into the big leagues of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. A recent social media post from DFRNT Health and Fitness pretty much confirms that Charlie Cox’s Daredevil will have a role in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday.

  1. For months, rumors have hinted at Cox’s involvement in the next Avengers movies, possibly as a Variant or in a pivotal supporting role. Now, it seems those whispers have solidified into something more tangible.

The gym, which has been training Cox for his Marvel roles, posted on Instagram:

"It’s been awesome having Charlie and his wife, Sam Cox, in at DFRNT over the past few weeks! Charlie is currently training for his role in the upcoming @marvel Avengers movie where he will play @daredevil."

They continued with enthusiasm:

"It’s been our absolute pleasure working with you both and we can’t wait to watch you on the big screen!"

It’s hard to imagine the gym randomly just making up a statement like this, especially with Daredevil: Born Again season 2 about to begin production. If this confirmation holds, Daredevil’s inclusion in the Avengers lineup is incredibly exciting.

Cox himself has previously played coy about his MCU future. Speaking at FanExpo Chicago earlier this year, he teased:

"I have to be so careful. Look, I can't! I'm not going to say, there [are] so many [characters to team up with]. There's one particular group of people that I would like to be invited to play with... but we'll get into that a little bit later!"

The possibility of Daredevil fighting alongside Earth's Mightiest Heroes on the big screen opens up exciting new dynamics for the MCU.

I would sure love to see Daredevil and Spider-Man fight alongside each other! Matt Murdock’s inclusion definitely promises some exciting storytelling opportunities.

With Daredevil: Born Again season 1 premiering on March 4, fans won’t have to wait long to see the next chapter in Cox’s portrayal of the beloved character.

And if this latest report is any indication, the best may still be yet to come. Daredevil may finally getting his big screen debut, and the Avengers are about to get one hell of a badass ally.
