James Gunn and David Hasselhoff Are Still Trying to Make a KNIGHT RIDER Revival

A few years ago David Hasselhoff said that while working with James Gunn on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, he and Gunn were talking about doing a revival of the classic series Knight Rider and that Gunn was trying to get the rights to the property.

Well, Gunn and Hasselhoff are still talking about trying to get this revival off the ground. During a Q&A session on Twitter, Gunn himself said:

"My friend @DavidHasselhoff and I have discussed doing a modern continuation of Knight Rider many times. The primary hurdle has been there aren't enough hours in the day to do all the cool things I want to do!"

The two talents obviously would love to make this Knight Rider revival a reality. Hasselhoff himself replied to Gunn, adding: "Cést la vie my friend!" But, it doesn’t sound like they are anywhere near moving forward on this thing. When previously talking about his ideas for the revival, Hasselhoff said, “I want to bring it back and make it dark! Michael Knight comes back and he’s pissed.”

Maybe one day is something that will actually happen, and if it does, I’ll show up to watch it! Would you like to see Gunn and Haselhoff team up for a Knight Rider revival?
