James Gunn Confirms That He and Chris Pratt Talk About a DCU Role "All The Time"
A rumor made the rounds recently online that James Gunn and Chris Pratt have been discussing an undisclosed role for the actor in the DCU.
The two have a strong relationship and they previously worked together on the Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy for Marvel Studios. While Pratt will continue his run at Marvel as Star-Lord, Gunn has moved on and will 100% be focused on DC Studios from here on out.
Anyway, Gunn recently addressed these reports and pretty much confirmed that they are true for obvious reasons… he and Pratt are friends, so, of course they talk about it!
When asked by a fan on social media if the rumors were true, Gunn said: "He's a close friend. We talk about that all the time."
It’s safe to say that one day Gunn and Pratt will work together again on a DC film. The big question is, what movie will it be, and what DC character will Pratt play?
Pratt was previously asked about the possibility of joining the rebooted DC Universe in a recent interview, and he said: "Well, there’s always a chance. But of course, I wouldn’t be able to spoil it here on the sidewalk with you.
“I could, but I better not. Man, I just have to leave that to the fans and people like James to decide. I'm not exactly sure. I'm truly not sure. Yes, of course, if I can fit it into my schedule and it made sense.”
