James Gunn Reveals That Two More DCU Projects Will Go Into Production Soon

DC Studios co-CEO and Superman: Legacy writer and director James Gunn has offered an update on where things stand with the DCU projects that DC Studios is developing. In the update, he said that on top of Superman: Legacy and Creature Commandos, there are two other projects that will start production soon. He said in a recent Instagram post:

"One year ago today Peter Safran & I introduced our DC slate for the 1st time – thanks to all of you for the support you've given us throughout the year. Today, Superman Legacy is about to start production, episodes of Creature Commandos are being finished that will release later this year, at least 2 more projects are gearing up to go in the next couple months, amazing scripts keep coming in, & incredible talent are being attached to new projects, planned & unplanned. "

He doesn’t reveal what the other two projects are, but the upcoming film slate also includes, The Authority, Batman: The Brave and the Bold, Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, and Swamp Thing.

As for the TV project, we’ve got Waller, Lanterns, Paradise Lost, Booster Gold, and Peacemaker Season 2.

The two other projects could be any of those, and I’m sure we’ll find out soon enough which ones they are.
