James Wan is Not Actually Making a BATMAN Horror Film
The other day, James Wan said that a fantasy of his would be to make a Batman horror film. The Internet took that little snippet and ran with it. Now, everyone wants to see a Batman horror film from the director of Aquaman. There’s just one problem. Wan is not making said film, nor does he have plans to. One fan reached out to Wan to suggest David H. Thornton for the role of Joker, and the suggestion was quickly shot down with a reminder that this movie isn’t even being talked about.
So, while fans may be interested in seeing a Batman horror film, and it may be fun to fan cast it, don’t expect such a film to ever be made. Plus, right now Wan has something else he is focusing on: Aquaman. The cast and crew are currently doing the press rounds and the film will be available to see in the US when it swims into theaters on December 21, 2018.
