James Wan Reveals The Title of His Mysterious New Horror Film as He Starts Shooting
Director James Wan has announced that he has started shooting his mysterious new horror film. That announcement came with a photo of the film’s clap board, which reveals that the title of the film is Malignant. It also shows off the sinister-looking logo for the movie. Check it out below:
The movie stars George Young and Annabelle Wallis. We don’t know much about the story, but when previously talking about the the movie, Wan teased:
"There’s been a bit of speculation as to what my next project is… all I’ll say is, I’m super excited to go back to my indie roots with this hard-R thriller. An original horror idea (not a reboot/remake or anything based on existing IP) with old school, practical effects and no giant, blue screen sets.”
I’m a huge fan of Wan’s horror films and I can’t wait to see what he’s got planned for this original story that he wants to tell. Here’s to hoping that it scares the shit out of us!
