Jamie Foxx to Reprise His Role as Electro in Marvel's SPIDER-MAN 3

Color me confused! THR is reporting that Jamie Foxx is in final talks to reprise his role as Electro in Marvel Studios’ and Sony Pictures’ third Spider-Man film.

So, does this mean that the other Spider-Man films are now a part of this MCU universe? As you know, Electro was the main villain of the other Spider-Man film with Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man. It was completely separate from what is happening now. At least we thought it was!

Will this next film be playing with the Spider-Man multiverse? Or will they just be rebooting the character electro for the MCU with the same actor? I have no idea what is going on, and no explanation is given.

Foxx will join Tom Holland in the film and several other members of the cast from the first two movies. Jon Watts is also back to direct the Spider-Man 3 movie, which has yet to be given a title.

We don’t have any plot details to share regarding the film but after the events of Spider-Man: Far From Home, Parker is sure to be on the run and in hiding as he tries to clear his name after being framed by Mysterio.

Fans are hoping that while he is doing this, Kraven the Hunter will come into the story to try and hunt Spider-Man down. There have been reports that Kraven the Hunter will appear in the story and head to New York City to hunt down Spider-Man. There are also reports of a Kraven standalone film.

There are a lot of different directions that this story can go in, but in a previous interview with Tom Holland, he says that the script for the film is “absolutely insane.”

What do you think Foxx coming back as Electro means for the film and the Spider-Verse?
