Jamie Lee Curtis Shares Photo of Herself as Laurie Strode From The Set of HALLOWEEN ENDS
Jamie Lee Curtis has shared the first look at herself back in the role of Laurie Strode in the director David Gordon Green’s upcoming film Halloween Ends. This is the final film in the trilogy that Green and Danny McBride set out to make.
The last time we saw Laurie, she was in the hospital and in a lot of pain after the brutal events of Halloween Kills. Here, in this photo, she is looking very alive and refreshed. She’s rested, healed, and ready to face off with Michael Meyers again when he comes back. The photo comes with the caption, “Old Fog New Tricks.”
Halloween Ends will take place four years after the events of this most recent movie. Gordon Green previously talked about the upcoming sequel and what Laurie is dealing with, saying:
"We're jumping time a little bit in [Halloween Ends] but part of what we're exploring is how Laurie and a few of our characters have processed those years between Halloween 2018 and that night's events and tragedies to Halloween 2022 [tracing the journey] to where they will come to fruition in their psychological aftermath."
When teasing what the story for the next film will entail, Green said that Andi Matichak's Allyson will be a focal point. He shared, "That's exactly what 'Halloween Ends' [explores] — the core of that story is [Allyson's] considerations and psychology."
Halloween Ends is currently set to hit theaters on October 14, 2022.
