Jason Momoa Teases a "Dream" DC Project That Will Be Made Under The Leadership of James Gunn

Aquaman star Jason Momoa shares his excitement about James Gunn and Peter Safran leading the charge at DC Studios as co-CEOs and he teases a new mystery “dream” project that will be made under their leadership. He recently told ET Canada:

"I think with Peter Safran and Mr. Gunn at the helm now at DC, I'm very excited about that. There are a lot of cool things that are going to be coming up and one of my dreams come true will be happening under their watch, so stay tuned."

We have no information on what this dream project is, but it would have to be connected to Aquaman in some way because it’s not like he’s going to be playing another DC character. He’s got Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom coming out next year, so maybe there’s a certain Aquaman story that he’s excited about telling? Or maybe he’s producing another DC project? We’ll eventually find out, but as of right now, all we can do is speculate.

Gunn previously teased what he’s currently working on with Safran for the DC Cinematic Universe, saying that they are looking to tell the biggest story ever told across multiple films:

"But all our initial focus is on the story going forward, hammering out the new DCU, & telling the Biggest Story Ever Told across multiple films, television shows, & animated projects. We invite all of the DC fandoms from across the multiverse – and everyone else as well – into this new universe. We can't wait to reveal more."

What do you think Momoa’s mystery DC dream project could be?
