Jeremy Renner is Getting His Own HAWKEYE Series on Disney+ with Kate Bishop
More big news from Marvel Studios! Jeremy Renner’s MCU character Hawkeye is getting his very own limited-series on Disney+! This series was previously rumored, but it’s good to see that it’s actually happening.
The actor will be reprising his role in the show and according to Variety, it will be an “adventure series in which Clint Barton, a.k.a. Hawkeye, will pass the torch to Kate Bishop.”
Bishop is the Marvel character who takes up the mantle of Hawkeye after Barton. She is also a member of the superhero team known as the Young Avengers.
A lot of fans think that we will see Kate Bishop appear in Avengers: Endgame and that she is being played by Katherine Langford, but that has yet to be confirmed. It seems like if they are doing this series, Bishop would have to be introduced before hand, but we’ll have to wait and see.
I’m looking forward to this series, though, and I’m excited to see what comes of it! This show is on top of the other Marvel series currently in development that will revolve around Loki, Winter Solider, Falcon, Vision, and Scarlet Witch.
The shows will have feature film budgets and they are expected to have six to eight episodes each.
Are you happy to hear that Hawkeye and Kate Bishop are getting their own series?
