Jeremy Renner Shares Photo From the First Day Back on Set of MAYOR OF KINGSTOWN

Jeremy Renner is officially back to work on the set of his Showtime/Paramount+ drama, Mayor of Kingstown, as it has begun shooting its third season. Renner shared a photo from behind the scenes of the show, which marks his first time back at work since the snowplow accident that almost took his life just over a year ago. A co-star of his from the series, Emma Laird, shared a photo last week, celebrating the cast’s return, but below you can see the post that Renner shared with fans to mark the occasion.

Renner and Laird are joined in the cast by Hugh Dillon, Taylor Handley, Tobi Bamtefa, Derek Webster, Nishi Munshi and Hamish Allan-Headley also star.

The series follows the McLusky family, power brokers in Kingstown, Michigan, where the business of incarceration is the only thriving industry. Tackling themes of systemic racism, corruption and inequality, the series provides a stark look at their attempt to bring order and justice to a town that has neither.

Mayor of Kingstown will return to Showtime/Paramount+ for season 3 in 2025. Check out Renner’s post below, and watch the first two seasons of the series, available now.
