Jim Caviezel Unleashes High-Tech Mayhem in Badass New Trailer for GHOST SOLDIER
Sony Pictures has released a badass new trailer for its upcoming action thriller Ghost Soldier, starring Jim Caviezel as a former Special Forces soldier who uses some seriously cool military technology to wage a one-man war against a ruthless corporation.
The film comes from director William Eubank (The Signal, Underwater, Land of Bad), and it looks like he's having a blast with the action and crazy futuristic weaponry.
Caviezel plays Henry "Fitz" Fitzgerald, a former Green Beret and advanced weapons engineer who has left his dangerous past behind to live off the grid in his Wyoming hometown.
His peaceful existence comes crashing down when a powerful foreign corporation moves into the area with plans to seize his land and the properties belonging to his neighbors. Unfortunately for the corporate goons, they've picked a fight with someone who knows exactly how to make their lives miserable.
Fitz has years of lethal military training, an impressive collection of experimental weapons, and absolutely no intention of letting these people take his community.
As the trailer puts it, "He's not a threat, he's a guarantee." The new footage gives us another look at the ridiculous arsenal Fitz has at his disposal, including an invisibility blanket and a gun equipped with auto-targeting rockets. These are the kinds of over-the-top gadgets that make action movies like this so much fun.
Watching a highly trained soldier unleash experimental military technology against an army of corporate mercenaries sounds like a pretty entertaining way to spend a couple of hours.
The first trailer might have been a little stronger overall, but this second one delivers plenty of explosive action and gives audiences a better taste of the high-tech insanity waiting for them.
The film also stars Olivia Thirlby, Beau Knapp, Garret Dillahunt, and Shea Whigham. Eubank has already shown he knows his way around intense action with Land of Bad, and it'll be interesting to see what he does with a story that gives its main character access to such an outrageous collection of weapons.
Ghost Soldier hits theaters on November 11, 2026, and if you're a fan of one-man-army action movies loaded with advanced military hardware, this looks like it could be a fun ride.
