JOHN WICK: CHAPTER 4 Actor Wants a "Mr. Nobody" Spinoff Film with an Oscar Winner Playing The Villain
John Wick: Chapter 4 introduced audiences to a brand new character played by Shamier Anderson (Wynonna Earp) who goes by the name "Mr. Nobody" a.k.a. "The Tracker." He was a dog-loving, backpacking bounty hunter of the assassin world, who was tracking John Wick all the way through the film negotiating his price to kill him along the way. He would make sure that Wick stayed alive until the price was right for him to take him out.
While I loved the film, “Mr. Nobody” was the least interesting character in the film for me. I know what purpose he served in the story, I just think that the character could’ve been so much more entertaining! He was so monotone throughout the whole movie, and monotone characters are boring to me.
Well, as you might imagine, Anderson loves the idea of “The Tracker” getting his own spinoff movie, and he would love to get an Oscar-winning actor to play the villain in it. During an interview with Vulture, the actor offered up a few names:
"Liam Neeson would be a great antagonist. I think Denzel Washington would be a crazy antagonist. It would be really interesting to see a female villain; Meryl Streep would be something different. So those are my top three choices: Denzel Washington, Liam Neeson, and Meryl Streep."
I don’t think it’s impossible to get any of those actors into the John Wick franchise. The hardest would be Meryl Streep, the easiest would be Liam Neeson because he stars in all the action movies, and the flip of the coin goes to Denzel Washington.
The question is, would anyone really be interested in a movie that centered around “Mr. Nobody”?
