JOHN WICK: CHAPTER 4 Has Been Confirmed and it Has a Release Date
Everyone involved with the John Wick Franchise has been on board with keeping the franchise alive for as long as they possibly can. They seem to enjoy making John Wick films as much as we enjoy watching them!
John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum had an awesome weekend at the box office making $56.82 million domestically and a total of $93.31 world wide, which is a franchise high. So, it probably won’t surprise any of you to learn that Summit Entertainment and Lionsgate have confirmed a sequel is moving forward.
In a text message sent to members of the John Wick text club, it was revealed that John Wick: Chapter 4 will happen and that it will be released May 21st, 2021.
I absolutely loved John Wick: Chapter 3! The movie completely blew me away. It started off strong, with an incredible fight sequence and then it just got better and crazier as it went on. It was seriously one of the best action movies that I’ve ever seen.
In case you’re wondering how director Chad Stahelski, Keanu Reeves, and the rest of the creative team are going to top Chapter 3, the director admits that it will be more difficult to make than the other films. If you’ve seen Chapter 3, you know that John Wick got hurt pretty bad, so if they pick up the next film right where this one leaves off, Wick will be fighting from a hospital bed!
The guy needs rest and time to heal before he jumps back into action and starts killing people again. John Wick is definitely going to be back out for revenge in this next film after what happened at the end of the movie. Don’t worry, I won’t spoil it, but if you’ve seen the movie, you know what I’m talking about.
Are you excited to hear that we will be getting a fourth John Wick film? Of course, you are! That’s a stupid question. A better question is, what do you want to see happen in it!?
