Jon Favreau's STAR WARS TV Project Will Reportedly Start Shooting This Fall or Winter

I don't know about you, but I'm pumped up about the live-action Star Wars series that Jon Favreau is developing for Lucasfilm. It looks like the project is getting very close to production. According to Omega Underground, the series is said to start shooting this Fall or Winter.

Favreau will serve as a writer and producer. He's expected to hire other people to direct the various episodes, but I wouldn't be surprised if he directed one himself.

There hasn't been a lot revealed about the series, but Favreau did say that the series would be set between the events of Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens. He also revealed that it will feature all-new characters and will incorporate the "cutting edge tech" that he used to help in bringing The Jungle Book and The Lion King to life.

Lucasfilm has yet to announce an official premiere date for the series but there is an expectation it could be coming in the fall of 2019.

What are you hoping to see from this upcoming Star Wars TV series?
