Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Eve Hewson Song Released From John Carney's Film FLORA AND SON
Lakeshore Records has released a song from the soundtrack to the wonderful upcoming Apple TV+ original film Flora and Son. The song is titled “Meet In the Middle,” and it’s performed by the film’s stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Eve Hewson. It’s a beautifully written and performed song, and it comes at one of the emotional high points of the movie. I love the music that director John Carney (Once, Sing Street). incorporates into his films!
In the film, “Single mom Flora (Hewson) is at a loss about what to do with her rebellious teenage son, Max (Orén Kinlan). Encouraged by the police to find Max a hobby, Flora tries to occupy him with a beat-up acoustic guitar. With the help of a washed-up LA musician (Gordon-Levitt), Flora and Max discover the transformative power of music.”
