Josh Brolin in Talks to Replace Pedro Pascal in Zach Cregger's Horror Movie WEAPONS
Josh Brolin is in talks to star in New Line Cinema’s upcoming horror thriller Weapons, which is coming from Barbarian filmmaker Zach Cregger. Brolin will replace Pedro Pascal, who was originally cast in the movie but ended up dropping out after he joined Marvel’s The Fantastic 4, which caused scheduling conflicts.
Cregger also wrote the script for Weapons, and Rooney Mara is also set to star in the movie, which is described an “multi and inter-related story horror epic centered around witchcraft and missing children.” It’s also said that the movie “tonally is in the vein of Magnolia, the 1999 actor-crammed showcase from filmmaker Paul Thomas Anderson."
Barbarian was such a wild horror movie, and I’m really curious to see what Cregger has got cooking for this next project of his! Brolin is a great actor and it will be fun to see him star in a crazy horror movie!
