Judy Greer and Sophia Lillis Set to Star in Medieval-Themed Dark Comedy KNIGHT CAMP
Judy Greer (13 Going on 30, Ant-Man) and Sophia Lillis (It, Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves) are set to star in an upcoming dark comedy film project titled Knight’s Camp.
Knight’s Camp follows “four bubble-wrapped teens at a medieval-themed summer camp. On the eve of the camp’s famous Battle of Twin Bridge re-enactment, the teens ignite an old legend and are accidentally transported to the real battle in 1297 A.D.”
While there, “they are tasked with saving one of their ancestors to preserve the future of their family lineage. Set in Scotland, the pic explores the juxtaposition between the lives of modern-day teenagers and the brutal reality of bygone medieval times.”
This sounds like it could be a great movie, and it comes from the writing duo Kyle Rideout and Josh Epstein (Eadweard, Adventures in Public School ) with Rideout set to direct the movie.
The movie is produced by Daniel Bekerman, who recently developed the Donald Trump movie The Apprentice which just premiered in competition at Cannes.
