Justin Lin Set To Direct STAKEHORSE, a Crime Thriller, For Amazon MGM Studios

Justin Lin (Fast and Furious franchise) is set to direct a new film project titled Stakehorse for Amazon MGM Studios.

Stakehorse is a crime thriller, and the script, written by Justin Piasecki, was ranked #2 on the latest Black List of unproduced screenplays.

Unfortunately, we don’t have any plot details to share, but Lin is a great filmmaker, and I’m curious to see what he’s got planned for this. He signed on to direct it for a reason.

The movie is being produced by Hidden Pictures’ Todd Lieberman and Alex Young. Lin is currently working on One For The Money with Daniel Craig and Charlize Theron.

A couple of weeks ago it was rumored that Justin Lin was being looked at for Spider-Man 4, but there’s no confirmation of that.
