Kaley Cuoco's THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT Will Not Be Getting a Season 3

If you were hoping to see a third season for Kaley Cuoco’s The Flight Attendant, I’ve got some disappointing news for you as there will be no Season 3.

Not long after Season 2 came to an end Cuoco was asked about a third season and it was something she was sure would happen. She said at the time: “It’s going to take a lot of thought to make sure if we go back that it’s better than the last two, which is very hard to do. There’s definitely interest in doing a third season. I think for me, at this moment, the plane has landed.”

Now, she is officially moving on from the series. Cuoco also talked about the finale saying that the series “could definitely be done or it’s definitely open to continuing. I think the writers and the team did a really beautiful job in tying it up in a pretty bow. But if you had to open the bow, it would be okay.”

The show was such a big hit that I thought for sure there would be a third season, but, if there doesn’t really need to be one, then it’s good the show ended on a high note even if it was for only two seasons.

The Flight Attendant is based on Chris Bohjalian’s novel and the story follows Cuoco’s alcoholic, globe-trotting flight attendant Cassie Bowden who became embroiled in an espionage plot following her affair with a first class passenger, who winds up murdered after their night together.

Season 2 of the series saw Bowden getting a fresh start in Los Angeles, sober and moonlighting as a CIA asset in her spare time. Things got out of control for her during an overseas assignment that led her to inadvertently witness a murder, she becomes entangled in another international intrigue.

Did you enjoy this show? What do you think about it not getting a third season?
