Katee Sackhoff's Cryptic Answer to If Bo-Katan Will Appear in THE MANDALORIAN & GROGU

Actors in massive franchises like Star Wars have mastered the art of dodging questions, sidestepping spoilers, and giving just enough to keep fans guessing. But every now and then, a response raises more questions than it answers, like what just happened with Katee Sackhoff.

During a panel at Indiana Comic Con (via Collider), Sackhoff was asked point-blank if she’ll appear in The Mandalorian and Grogu, the upcoming feature film following Din Djarin’s adventures. Her answer?

"I have not been in the armor in 2025."

At first glance, that might seem like a simple “no.” But here’s the thing, filming for The Mandalorian and Grogu wrapped last year. So Sackhoff’s timeline technically checks out, but it also doesn’t rule out her involvement.

If she filmed her scenes in 2024, then she wouldn’t have needed to wear the armor in 2025 anyway.

Bo-Katan played a major role in The Mandalorian Season 3, and it’s hard to imagine a story about Mandalorians on the big screen without her at least being referenced.

Scheduled for release on May 22, 2026, The Mandalorian and Grogu brings Pedro Pascal back as Din Djarin, with new faces joining the adventure. Among them are Jeremy Allen White as Rotta the Hutt and Sigourney Weaver in a mystery role. Speaking about her character, Weaver recently revealed:

"I get to have scenes with a little Grogu which is probably why I did the movie. And he's a little badass too. It's going to be wonderful for people to see what Grogu is up to now because he's grown up a little bit and is capable of much more than maybe we think just watching the series."

As for Bo-Katan, I think it’s safe to say that we will see her back in action in the Star Wars movie.
