Jeremy Allen White Joins the STAR WARS Franchise in THE MANDALORIAN & GROGU as Jabba the Hutt's Son

Here’s some wild and unexpected news I didn’t see coming! The Bear star Jeremy Allen White is joining the Star Wars universe, and he will appear in Jon Favreau’s The Mandalorian & Grogu... as Jabba the Hutt’s son!

According to THR, White will provide the voice of of the character, who is named Rotta the Hutt. White previously teased his involvement, saying:

"I’m playing a role in The Mandalorian & Grogu [which will be directed by Jon Favreau]. I got to meet Grogu for the first time the other day. I’m filming that before I go to London for The Tempest at the end of the year."

He joins Pedro Pascal as Din Djarin, Sigourney Weaver, and Grogu in the film.

Rotta The Hutt made his animated debut in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars movie before appearing in a number of episodes of the TV series.

Rotta is a young Huttlet in The Clone Wars and is kidnapped as part of a plot to manipulate Jabba and disrupt Republic alliances. His rescue becomes a critical mission for Anakin Skywalker and his Padawan, Ahsoka Tano to return him safely to his father.

He was also nicknamed "Stinky" by Ahsoka.
