Keanu Reeves Isn't 100% Convinced That BILL & TED FACE THE MUSIC Is Going to Happen
This is bogus, man! After months of getting fans pumped up for the third Bill & Ted film, Bill & Ted Face The Music, Keanu Reeves isn't 100% convinced it's going to happen. After a big push to make it happen, confirmation that the film is in pre-development, and the movie getting a production start date, it seems the movie is still facing challenges that it may not overcome.
While talking to Yahoo! Entertainment, Reeves, who plays Theodore Logan in the franchise, cast a shadow of doubt over the production saying:
"I don’t know if [Bill & Ted 3] is a reality. We’ve been trying for a long time to get that film made, and it still has its challenges."
So, what's the problem? Well, it's all the bogus behind-the-scenes business stuff:
“I really love the characters, and I think we have a good story to tell. Part of it is business stuff—financing, rights, deals. Nothing creatively.”
Leave to the Hollywood executives to screw fans out of a film they've been excited about seeing for years! I'm totally bummed out by this. It sucks to see that spark of excitement in Reeves wanting to make the film fizzle out.
I hope that they can figure all this stuff out and make this movie happen because if they don't I'm gonna be pissed!
