Kevin Hart and John Cena Reportedly Are Wanted For a KNIGHT RIDER Comedy
Just yesterday we posted news about how David Hasselhoff wanted a to do a Knight Rider revival like Logan. He explained that he wanted it to be dark.
"I want to bring it back and make it dark! Michael Knight comes back and he’s pissed.’ ... I hope it happens, and if it does, it’ll be kind of like Logan. It will be dark. Hasselhoff as Michael Knight in 2017. Knight Rider. The saga continues."
Hasselhoff doesn't want a silly Knight Rider comedy like we've seen with 21 Jump Street and Baywatch. He want's to do something hardcore.
Well, it seems that The Weinstein Company has different plans for the property. According to Screen Rant, they are looking to make a silly Knight Rider film and they want Kevin Hart to provide the voice of the car Kitt and John Cena to take on the role of Michael Knight!
I already hate this idea. I already know how a movie like this would turn out. I can envision the awfulness in my head. I'd much rather see David Hasselhoff return to the role in a revival project developed by James Gunn and Robert Rodriguez. That's much more appealing than what The Weinsteins are looking to do.
