KING OF THE HILL Season 15 Trailer Teases Bobby and Connie’s Long-Awaited Romance
Fans of King of the Hill have watched Bobby Hill and Connie Souphanousinphone grow up over the course of the beloved animated series, and it looks like the next chapter of their story is finally about to unfold.
The newly released Season 15 trailer reveals that Bobby and Connie are taking their relationship in a more serious direction as adults, and judging by the reactions from their families, it’s going to lead to some entertaining complications.
The trailer debuted during the show's panel at the Annecy Animation Festival and offers a fresh look at life in Arlen following the series’ successful revival.
While Bobby and Connie explore romance, Hank and Peggy find themselves navigating retirement on Rainey Street, a challenge that appears to come with its own set of headaches. The preview also shows the couple trying to keep up with modern life while learning how to avoid online scams and other contemporary pitfalls.
The return of King of the Hill has been a major win for Hulu, and the streamer is clearly confident in the show's future. Season 15 will premiere all 10 episodes on July 20. Hulu originally ordered 20 episodes for the revival, and after the series made a strong comeback in 2025, it was renewed for two more seasons, ensuring the show will continue through Season 17.
According to the official synopsis: “Hank and Peggy settle into retirement life on Rainey Street while attempting to keep their neighbors from going off the rails. Bobby navigates old friendships while dealing with the stresses of being an entrepreneur.”
The Annecy event also honored Mike Judge, the co-creator of King of the Hill and the voice of Hank Hill, with the prestigious Honorary Crystal Award for his contributions to animation. During his acceptance speech, Judge reflected on the unique people who dedicate their lives to the craft, saying:
“Animators are a unique breed. It takes a certain type of weirdo to make a film, one frame at a time, and I found that those are my people. So thank you to all the weirdos like myself.”
Season 15 also brings back much of the cast that fans have loved for years. Judge returns alongside Kathy Najimy, Pamela Adlon, Stephen Root, Lauren Tom, and Toby Huss, all reprising their original roles.
Following the passing of Johnny Hardwick, who famously voiced Dale Gribble, Huss has stepped in to take over the role. Meanwhile, Ronny Chieng has joined the cast as the new voice of Kahn Souphanousinphone, Hank and Peggy’s longtime Laotian neighbor.
The series continues under the guidance of co-creators Mike Judge and Greg Daniels, who both serve as executive producers. Saladin Patterson remains showrunner and executive producer.
