Kingpin Actor Vincent D’Onofrio Teases Dark Future for DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN Season 2
Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 might still be a ways off, but Vincent D’Onofrio is building up the hype for what’s coming. The actor behind MCU’s take on Wilson Fisk shared a new image of Kingpin and offered an early reaction to what he’s seen from the upcoming season.
D’Onofrio took to social media to post a shadowy photo of Kingpin, paired with his first impressions after watching parts of the new season.
He wrote, "Just watched some episodes of the second season of DD Born Again. Looking real good!"
One fan jumped in with “Already seated,” while others echoed variations of “can’t wait to watch it.” A few fans used the moment to plead for a trailer, while some expressed concern about recent rumors suggesting a possible delay. As of now, nothing about a delay has been confirmed.
Even without a trailer or full synopsis, there’s plenty to be excited about. Charlie Cox returns as Matt Murdock, and Season 2 brings back Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones for the first time since 2019.
Seeing Jessica team up with the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen again is a huge win for Marvel TV fans. There’s also growing speculation that Elodie Yung could reprise her role as Elektra after a cryptic Instagram post.
The returning cast also includes Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page and Wilson Bethel as Bullseye, both of whom have unfinished business in this story. Season 2 will also introduce Matthew Lillard as Mr. Charles, another figure operating within Fisk’s circle. One notable absence is The Punisher. Frank Castle won’t appear this season, though he’s set to headline his own standalone TV special.
Season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again picks up right where Season 1 left off. The conflict between Daredevil and Kingpin escalates as Fisk tightens his grip on New York, forcing the city to respond.
Director Aaron Moorhead previously described the season as a “resistance tale” centered on Mayor Fisk, with Matt Murdock inspiring the people of Hell’s Kitchen to push back while Kingpin works to crush any opposition.
Marvel Studios has slated Daredevil: Born Again season 2 for a March 2026 release.
