KINGSMAN 3 Will Bring an End to Eggsy and Harry's Story

After director Matthew Vaughn is finished with the upcoming Kingsman: The Great Game prequel film, he will start working on Kingsman 3. That sequel will see the return of Taron Egerton as Eggsy and Colin Firth as Harry, and it will focus on their student/teacher relationship.

While talking with Digital Spy, director Matthew Vaughn said that the upcoming Kingsman 3 movie will be the last film to focus on these two characters and their relationship. He explained:

“We’ve got to finish off the Eggsy and Harry relationship. The final chapter of their relationship needs to be told, which we’ve got ready to do, and I’m hoping to shoot that later this year or the beginning of next year.”

At the end of the last film, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, Eggsy ended up marrying the Crown Princess of Sweden, and Harry found himself back in action. The film also introduced a few new characters, such as Tequila (Channing Tatum), Ginger Ale (Halle Berry) and Champ (Jeff Bridges), and you can expect them to turn up in the third Kingsman film as well.. When previously talking about the film, the director said:

"The end of this movie [Golden Circle], if you think about it: you have Eggsy's definitely going to go on a new journey. Galahad, or Harry Hart's going on a new journey. Tequila's going on a new journey. Jeff's (Bridges) going on a new journey, Halle (Berry), the new agent Whiskey, is. The next movie is what happens to these characters. They're definitely not going to be doing what you've seen them do before."

The Kingsman films have been an absolute blast to watch! They are a ton of fun, and I’m looking forward to the future films in the franchise that are coming.
