LANDMAN Scores Season 3 Renewal at Paramount+

Paramount+ is sticking with Taylor Sheridan and Christian Wallace’s West Texas oil saga because Landman has officially locked in a Season 3. The news arrives while Season 2 is still rolling out new episodes and building major momentum.

Only three episodes into its second season, the series has already proven its staying power. The fourth episode arrives December 7, and Paramount+ clearly likes where the story is heading.

Viewers have shown up in a big way too. The Season 2 premiere drew a massive audience with “9.2 million viewers in its first two days of availability, an increase of 262% over the series premiere.”

The show centers on oil industry fixer turned president Tommy Norris, played by Billy Bob Thornton, who continues to wrestle with the high stakes and personal strain that come with the job. Landman digs deep into the tension of West Texas oil power struggles and the complicated people who orbit them. Season 2 pushes Tommy even further as pressures close in from every direction.

The official logline teases: “As oil rises from the earth, so do secrets and Tommy Norris’s (Thornton) breaking point may be closer than he realizes. Facing mounting pressure from M Tex Oil, Cami Miller (Moore), and the shadow of his kin, survival in West Texas isn’t noble it’s brutal. And sooner or later something’s got to break.”

Alongside Thornton, the ensemble cast includes Demi Moore, Andy Garcia, Ali Larter, Sam Elliott, Jacob Lofland, Michelle Randolph, Paulina Chávez, Kayla Wallace, Mark Collie, James Jordan, and Colm Feore.

With Season 3 now confirmed, fans can expect even more of the sharp drama, fierce rivalries, and West Texas grit that have made Landman one of Paramount+’s standout originals.
