Liam Neeson Set to Star in a New NAKED GUN Movie for Paramount Pictures

Here’s some fun movie news! Liam Neeson is officially set to star in a new Naked Gun film produced by Paramount Pictures. It was also announced that the movie will be directed by Akiva Schaffer, who most recently directed the Chip n Dale: Rescue Rangers movie, which was super entertaining.

Seth MacFarlane has been working on getting this project off the ground for a few years and he will be producing alongside Erica Huggins. I’m just happy to see the film is officially a go!

I love the thought of Neeson starring in a Naked Gun movie! We have no details to share in regard to a plot, but Neeson is going to be great! It’s said that Neeson “may be playing the son of officer Frank Derbin instead of stepping into the role made famous by Leslie Nielsen.”

Neeson has previously said that he’s excited about the project and was hoping it would happen. Well, it is, and I’m looking forward to some hialrious comedy.
