LOKI Season 2 Gets a Cryptic Teaser Clip Thanks to McDonald's

Marvel Studios has teamed up with McDonald’s for a big cross-promotion for Loki Season 2, and McDonald’s has shared a brief cryptic teaser clip. It features Sophia Di Martino’s Sylvie working at a past retro version of McDonlad’s when Tom Hiddleston's Loki walks in and changes the dynamic. It comes off as a charming and magical little moment. In a following post on X, Sylvie asks if he's going to order something.

This is all playing a part in the marketing for McDonald's new "As Featured In Meal." Here's what the company had to say about the upcoming collaboration: "It's not only our real-life fans who have a go-to order... for decades our favorite movie and TV characters have, too. The As Featured In Meal is our biggest Famous Order yet, celebrating the most memorable McDonald's references across the world of entertainment."

In Season 2, the God of Mischief finds himself with a little problem of “time slipping.” The trailer also features Ke Huy Quan as an archivist whom they go to for help. Owen Wilson returns as Mobius, and he will continue to help Loki as they try to figure out watch is going o,n and this leads them to Jonathan Majors as the Kang variant Victor Timely.

The cast also includes Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Wunmi Mosaku, Eugene Cordero, Rafael Casal, Kate Dickie, Liz Carr, Neil Ellice, and Tara Strong as Miss Minutes, who we see a variant of in the trailer.

The series was directed by Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead, Dan Deleeuw and Kasra Farahani. The head writer of the show is Eric Martin and it’s produced by Kevin Feige, Stephen Broussard, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Kevin R. Wright, Hiddleston, Benson, Moorhead, Martin, and Michael Waldron.

Marvel Studios’ Loki Season 2 begins streaming on October 6, exclusively on Disney+.
