Marvel Artist Andy Park Shows Us First Keyframe Art for Giant-Man
Back in 2015, we were all surprised by how much we loved Paul Rudd as Scott Lang, aka Ant-Man. I was not expecting to like that movie as much as I did. It was Ant-Man, how could anyone get excited about that? For me, it was kind of like how could anyone get excited about Aquaman in the DC Universe? I was proven wrong. I loved Rudd’s portrayal of Ant-Man and was excited to see him return for Captain America: Civil War. In Ant-Man we saw Scott learn about Hank Pym’s shrinking technology and we saw some great miniature fights. Then, in Civil War, we got to enjoy that technology again as Scott pretended to be Tony Stark’s conscious. However, towards the end of the big airport fight, we got to see Giant-Man. Scott could use technology to increase his size and it was quite a shock for some of us. I would’ve just assumed they’d save that for the sequel to Ant-Man, but they didn’t and it was spectacular. Andy Park, an artist at Marvel Studios, recently released the first keyframe art made for Giant-Man and it’s glorious.
Of course, it’ll be interesting to see the aftermath of Scott’s Civil War actions in Ant-Man and the Wasp. After all, it sounds like Hank’s not too happy. Are you a fan of Giant-Man?
Ant-Man and the Wasp will be released July 6, 2018.
