Marvel Officially Releases AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY Wakanda Trailer as M’Baku Meets The Thing

Marvel has officially dropped the fourth trailer for Avengers: Doomsday, and this one brings Wakanda into the spotlight.

After weeks of teasers circulating online ahead of schedule, the studio has now unveiled the Wakanda-focused preview, confirming Black Panther’s return and The Fantastic Four are officially interacting with characters from the main MCU timeline for the first time following their solo film.

This latest trailer packs more into its runtime than any of the previous teasers. The earlier ones kept things smaller in scope, pairing up just a handful of characters at a time.

The Wakanda trailer opens things up with Shuri, M’Baku, and Namor are front and center, joined by Wakandan and Talokan representatives, with several familiar faces sporting updated looks since we last saw them.

One of the most interesting moments centers on Shuri, who is still clearly carrying the weight of everything she’s lost. She openly reflects on how much grief has shaped her.

The trailer also confirms that M’Baku is now established as the king of Wakanda, continuing directly from where Wakanda Forever left off. Both he and Shuri debut new designs that blend Wakandan and Talokan influences, reinforcing that the truce between the two nations is holding strong.

Namor appears as well, wearing a new costume, complete with the high collar fans have long associated with the character. His trusted ally Namora is also spotted, officially confirming her role in Doomsday.

There’s an uneasy energy surrounding Namor in this teaser. He doesn’t look entirely comfortable, and while nothing is confirmed, it’s easy to see why some fans are already speculating about where his loyalties might land once Doctor Doom enters the picture. For now, it’s all speculation.

On the crossover front, the trailer features Ben Grimm, played by Ebon Moss-Bachrach, meeting with the Wakandan delegation. Interestingly, Grimm is still wearing the same suit introduced in Fantastic Four: First Steps, breaking from the MCU’s usual habit of refreshing costumes at every opportunity.

Doctor Doom himself remains absent from the footage, keeping Marvel’s biggest mystery intact for now. Still, with Wakanda, Talokan, and the Fantastic Four all converging, it’s sure to get Marvel fan excited for what’s coming in Avengers: Doomsday.

Avengers: Doomsday hits theaters on December 16, 2026.
