Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige Says DEADPOOL is Working, So Why Change It?

A lot of Deadpool fans were afraid that after Disney bought 20th Century Fox that they would change it and clean it up as they moved forward with it. Deadpool is the only iteration of the X-Men from Fox that will carry over into the MCU and Marvel Studio is not going to change him.

While talking to Variety, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige explained:

“When we were purchased, Bob said to us, ‘if it’s not broke, don’t fix it. There’s no question that Deadpool is working, so why would we change it?”

That’s the answer that will make so many fans so happy. Even after all the talk about keeping the character the same over the past few months fans still seemed apprehensive about it, but seriously… they aren’t going to change Deadpool! They are going to let Deadpool be Deadpool, and that’s fantastic!

We have no idea when the next Deadpool film will be released or if the X-Force movie will remain part of the plan, but all that will be revealed soon.
