Marvel Studios Reportedly Developing a New Animated Series That Might Involve The ETERNALS or INHUMANS

It looks like Marvel Studios might be developing another animated series that has yet to be announced. This information comes from industry scooper Daniel Richtman, and he says that this is an Anime-influenced project that will revolve around a diverse group of leads.

There’s also a brief plot summary that was shared revealing some additional information: "A clandestine group of ancient cosmic beings living undercover on Earth are trying to protect the world without being discovered by humans. They find themselves entangled in a cosmic battle that could reshape the fate of the universe."

This sounds like it could either be an animated series that involves the Eternals or the Inhumans. We don’t know for sure, but if I were to guess it would be Eternals because there is a lot of epic stuff that can be played with in animation that would be difficult and incredibly expensive to pull in live action.

Hopefully, we get more information to share with you on this soon. Marvel is currently developing animated shows for What If...?, X-Men '97, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, Eyes of Wakanda, and Marvel Zombies. If this new series is Eternals-based, I would love for the animation to be heavily inspired by Jack Kirby’s art! They could do something really cool with that visually!
