Marvel Studios Rumored To Now Have Full Control of Hulk and Namor Again

According to a recent report from MCU Cosmic, Marvel Studios may have gotten the rights back to Hulk and Namor from Universal Pictures. The site says, “I’ve heard from someone very reliable that Marvel has gained full control of Hulk (and Namor) so those pesky distribution hurdles no longer exist.”

If this is true, that’s great news and it opens up the opportunity for Hulk to finally get his very own solo film if that’s something Marvel eventually wants to do with him. Remember, Kevin Feige did invite Mark Ruffalo to pitch some Hulk movie ideas and he said he would love to see a Hulk Vs. Wolverine movie! Maybe Feige wanted to talk to Ruffalo about his future as Hulk because they can pretty much do whatever they want now.

Then, of course, there’s Namor. He’s been rumored to be a part of the upcoming Doctor Strange sequel. But, that has yet to be confirmed. The report says that it’s “very doubtful they’d ever do a solo Namor movie (due to the success of Aquaman) but they’ll use him as both a villain and potential future Avenger.” I personally don’t think it’s doubtful. I could totally see Namor getting his own movie and it’s something the fans would love to see as well! While I enjoyed Aquaman, I’m confident that Marvel would do something a lot better with the Sub-Mariner.

The future of Hulk was left wide open in the MCU and it’s only a matter of time before Namor is introduced. What would you like to see Marvel do with these two characters?
