Marvel Zombies, created by Zeb Wells, is based on the fan-favorite Marvel Comics series and spins out of the What If…Zombies episode that first dropped in 2021. The show officially hits Disney+ on September 24, 2025, and it’s set to deliver four intense episodes of post-apocalyptic madness.
The trailer throws us into a bleak alternate timeline where a zombie virus has overrun the Earth and turned some of our favorite MCU heroes into flesh-hungry monsters. With the Avengers infected, a scrappy group of survivors is left to navigate this terrifying new world and figure out how to stop the nightmare before it consumes everything.
The official synopsis reads: “After the Avengers are overtaken by a zombie plague, a desperate group of survivors discover the key to bringing an end to the super-powered undead, racing across a dystopian landscape and risking life and limb to save their world.”
The voice cast includes Awkwafina as Katy, David Harbour as Red Guardian, Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch, Randall Park as Jimmy Woo, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop, Dominique Thorne as Ironheart, Iman Vellani as Ms. Marvel, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Wyatt Russell as U.S. Agent, and Todd Williams as Blade.
The series is helmed by showrunner and director Bryan Andrews. Danielle Costa and Carrie Wassenaar are producing, with Andrews, Wells, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, and Dana Vasquez-Eberhardt serving as executive producers.
