Marvel's DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN Will Reportedly Feature Multiple Versions Of White Tiger

Marvel Studios is currently in the process of figuring out what to do with its upcoming Daredevil: Born Again series after firing its head writers and directors. They are currently on the hunt for a new creative team to revamp the series.

Fewer than half of the series’ 18 episodes had been shot, and while they aren’t starting from scratch, they are going to be doing a massive overhaul. One of the main aspects of the story that will most likely stick is the main villain of the story, White Tiger, and there are some new details regarding the character that have surfaced.

According to insider CWGST, the series will reportedly feature multiple versions of White Tigers. The report goes on to point out that there have been three characters in the comics that have taken on the mantle of White Tiger, and they include Hector Ayala, the first White Tiger; Angela Del Toro, Hector’s niece and second to wear the mantle Ava Ayala; and Hector’s sister and third White Tiger. So maybe two or three of them will be involved.

Some additional story elements regarding the original storyline of the series were previously released, and they still might make it into the series, so there’s a potential spoiler alert.

It was explained that Foggy Nelson would have been killed off in the premiere, and at that point, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) would have given up being Daredevil. He wouldn’t have even suited up until halfway through the first season. It would have been more of a legal procedural drama than a superhero series.

The show’s first big story arc would have been "The Trial of White Tiger," and it would’ve seen Matt Mudock taking on the vigilante as a client after he stopped a mugging. As the story plays out, he learns that the muggers were actually corrupt cops, and when one of them accidentally dies during a struggle, White Tiger is deemed a "cop killer."

It’s said that “Matt would’ve tailed the surviving cop to find the ‘informant’ as a witness for Hector’s trial. After finding the informant first, Matt would take their place to save them.”

The corrupt cops “are surprised to find Matt waiting for them. But they don’t care that he’s the informant’s lawyer and start to beat him up…until a gun is pulled and the devil is unleashed. Matt would then notice the Punisher logo tattooed on one of the knocked out cops, setting up the next arc…”

After all of these big changes to the show, I’m curious to see how it turns out. I just hope whatever the creative team does they tell a solid story and make a series that at least reaches the high standard set by Netflix’s Daredevil series.
