Master Chief to the Rescue in Epic New Trailer for HALO
We’ve got a new trailer for you to watch for the highly anticipated Paramount+ series Halo. This series looks awesome, and I’ve been hearing great things about it from friends that I know have already seen a few episodes. One described the series likened it to The Expanse, but with a bigger budget and more action. But, he also said it’s not as good as The Mandalorian.
As a long-time Halo fan, I’m incredibly excited about the show and this trailer features some new footage showing what it is that the Spartans are fighting for. It also includes more footage of Master Chief jumping into action!
The series is set in the 26th-century, and it dramatizes the conflict “between humanity and an alien threat known as the Covenant, Halo the series will weave deeply drawn personal stories with action, adventure and a richly imagined vision of the future. Nobody can save humanity alone-not even the Master Chief. Meet the heroes who will risk losing everything to come together and protect humankind from the universe's greatest threat.”
Master Chief is described as Earth’s most advanced warrior and “the only hope of salvation for a civilization pushed to the brink of destruction by the Covenant, an unstoppable alliance of alien worlds committed to the destruction of humanity.” It was also previously revealed that the show is set in what is called the Silver Timeline.
The series stars Pablo Schreiber as Master Chief, and he’s joined by Natasha Culzac as Riz-028, Bentley Kalu as Vannak 134, Kate Kennedy as Kai-125.
The 10-episode series is set to premiere on Paramount+ on March 24th, 2022. Check out the trailer and let us know if you’re excited about the show!
