Matt Damon Reportedly Joins the Cast of Marvel's THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER
According to The Daily Wire, Matt Damon has joined the cast of Marvel’s upcoming film project Thor: Love and Thunder. They report that Damon and his family have moved to Australia while shooting the film there.
There’s no word on who Damon is playing in the film, but he did have a small cameo in Thor: Ragnarok as an Asgardian actor playing Loki in a play. I guess there’s a chance he could be playing this same character or someone completely different.
It seems like the actor will have a much more sizable role in the film this time around as he is going to be part of the production for a few months. It’ll be interesting to see who he ends up playing.
Thor: Love and Thunder is being directed by Taika Waititi, and Chris Hemsworth will be back as the God of Thunder. The film also stars Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, who will also become Thor; Tessa Thompson is returning as Valkyrie and ruler of Asgard; Chris Pratt will return as Star-Lord; and it was recently announced that Christian Bale will play Gore The God Butcher.
