Matt Mercer Rules the Dome in Trailer for DIMENSION 20: THE RAVENING WAR

A couple of months ago, Dimension 20 teased a new season with Critical Role’s Matt Mercer serving as the Dungeon Master. Now, we have our first trailer and it is all hype! The new season is Dimension 20: The Ravening War and serves as a dark prequel to the popular A Crown of Candy season. This should be a very fun ride as Mercer is joined by five players including Brennan Lee Mulligan, Lou Wilson, Zac Oyama, Aabria Iyengar, and Anjali Bhimani.

The Ravening War is a dark, twisty prequel to the hugely popular Dimension 20: A Crown of Candy (trailer here) – based on the creative premise of a “Game of Thrones meets Candyland” world. This comes a year after Dimension 20's Brennan Lee Mulligan hosted the prequel event miniseries, Exandria Unlimited: Calamity, on Critical Role last summer. Now, their roles flipped - Critical Role's Mercer is hosting the prequel event miniseries for Dimension 20, and Mulligan joins the series as a player at the table.

Fans will be able to watch The Ravening War starting on May 10 with the first episode and new episodes weekly. I personally recommend subscribing to Dropout, but if you’re still hesitant, the first episode will be available to stream on YouTube starting May 17. This group is going to be pure entertainment for sure with no weak links. I cannot wait to watch The Ravening War and if you’ll excuse me, I have to go watch A Crown of Candy.
