Matt Reeves Shares Camera Test For THE BATMAN Featuring Robert Pattinson in Costume

Director Matt Reeves is currently shooting The Batman and fans have been eagerly waiting to get a glimpse of what Robert Pattinson’s Batman will look like. Well, Reeves has shared a camera test that he shot for the film featuring Pattinson in costume and I’m pretty excited about what I’m seeing! I like the look of the costume that’s being teased and it looks like this version of the Dark Knight is going to be a lot more agile. Then you have the cowl which looks like a mix of Daredevil and Batman: Year One. It has a more homemade vibe.

The movie also stars Zoe Kravitz, who will play Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Paul Dano will play the Riddler, Jeffrey Wright will play Commissioner Gordon, Andy Serkis is set to play Alfred, John Turturro has been cast in the role of Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard and Jayme Lawson are playing new characters created for the film.

There is so much we don’t know about the movie, but we do know that The Batman will be a noir-style film that will lean into Batman in his detective mode. When previously talking about the film, Reeves said:

“It's very much a point of view-driven, noir Batman tale. It's told very squarely on his shoulders, and I hope it's going to be a story that will be thrilling but also emotional. It's more Batman in his detective mode than we've seen in the films. The comics have a history of that.”

The movie is scheduled to hit theaters on June 25th, 2021.
