Matthew Vaughn's Adventure Spy Movie Starring Henry Cavill, ARGYILE, Gets a 2024 Release Date

Director Matthew Vaughn has been working on a new globe-trotting spy adventure movie with Henry Cavill titled Argyle, and the film has just been given a 2024 release date!

Argylle follows a super-spy played by Cavill whose job takes him across the U.S., London and other exotic locations. Vaughan previously said of the film: “When I read this early draft manuscript I felt it was the most incredible and original spy franchise since Ian Fleming’s books of the ’50s.”

Cavill is joined by an impressive cast of actors that includes Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Rockwell, Bryan Cranston, Catherine O’Hara, John Cena, Dua Lipa, Ariana DeBose and Samuel L. Jackson.

Vaughn has at least three films planned for the franchise, which is based on a debut novel of the same name by first-time author Ellie Conway. Jason Fuchs wrote the screenplay.

The film, which is being produced by Apple Original Films and distributed by Universal Pictures, will land on the big screen on February 2nd, 2024, before streaming on Apple TV+ on a later date.
