Meet the Bard and Summoner in SWORDS OF LEGENDS ONLINE
MMORPG fans in the West will soon be able play Swords of Legends Online thanks to Gameforge. The game features six different playable classes. We’ve already taken a look at the Berzerker and the Reaper and now, we have a look at the Bard and the Summoner.
Bards are designed to be versatile, depending on how you like to play. They use their harp to attack, heal, shield, and buff allies. The first Mastery for Bards is Dissonance which is more of an offensive subset that not only damages, but also appears to debuff enemies. Meanwhile, Harmony Bards are all about supporting your team.
Journey to the Mountain of Wondrous Creation and you’ll hear melodious sounds drifting through the peach trees. It is here where the students of Zhenren Chixia were split after ill-fortune befell prized student Zhengyang, which led to a group leaving Taihua Mountain to form their own Bardic school. Based upon a deep connection to nature, the Bards learned to hone their musical skills to create powerful melodies to use in combat.
Summoners appear to be a stronger support class. They summon creatures to aid in the fight in their stead. The Nature’s Wrath Mastery can summon the fox-like Mingshi to go on the offensive or the Golden Feather to distract their foes. Nuwa’s Blessing Summoners have access to the healing fairy Moluo to keep your allies in great shape.
The Summoner’s strength is drawn from a deep connection to the natural world, which they channel through a magical harp charged by the elements. Living in peace atop the Heavenly Ridge, the priests of the Liao clan are devoted to the goddess Nüwa and the spiritual realm from which they summon mighty beasts to aid them in battle.
SOLO is set to launch on PC later this year with three editions starting for $39.99.
