MEN IN BLACK Officially Casts Kumail Nanjiani and Raffe Spall
I’m still on the fence about the new Men in Black movie, but I can’t argue with Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson starring together. They were a dynamite team in Thor: Ragnarok and now we know more of who will be supporting them.
The Wrap is reporting that Kumail Nanjiani and Raffe Spall are joining the cast that includes Hemsworth, Thompson, Liam Neeson, Laurent Nicolas Bourgeois, and Larry Nicolas Bourgeois. There’s no official word on who Nanjiani or Spall will be playing in the film, but this cast is getting better and better every day.
It was previously reported that Nanjiani was up for a role in the film. According to that report, he will be playing a character named Pawny, who is "the third sidekick" and a “funny, wise-cracking, sex-driven alien from a civilization that exists on a Chessboard."
Art Marcum and Matt Holloway wrote the script and F. Gary Gray is directing the film. It is currently slated for release June 14, 2019.
