Michael B. Jordan and Ryan Coogler Teaming Up Again for a Genre Film That Might Involve Vampires

Michael B. Jordan and director Ryan Coogler are teaming up again for an original genre film project. The two have worked together over the years on Fruitvale Station, Creed, and Black Panther. Unfortunately, there are no details to share regarding this new project, so it’ll be interesting to see what it turns out to be.

Hollywood insider, Jeff Sneider has said, though, that the film is a period piece, and added that it was also a vampire movie.

According to the report, the film package was showcased to executives and buyers last week, with additional meetings set to take place to seek a production commitment from those who are interested.

The film project marks the first spec script from Coogler through his production banner, Proximity Media and it will be Coogler’s first directing gig since Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. I wish I had more information to throw at you, but that’s it on this one for now.

Jordan has a few projects in development right now including Creed IV, an adaptation of the Fourth Wing fantasy book series, an action thriller titled Iron Curtain, and a mind-bending film titled The Dwelling.
