Miles Teller Signs On for Olympic Drama WINTER GAMES at Paramount

Miles Teller is teaming back up with Paramount Pictures for a brand-new project titled Winter Games., and it will be directed by Paul Downs Colaizzo.

Winter Games follows the intense backdrop of the Winter Olympics, centering on an overlooked skier and a once-legendary hockey player, both grappling with personal demons. Their lives crash together at a breaking point, with a budding romance and high-stakes redemption threatening to derail both of their goals.

Teller, who’s also producing the film alongside Tim and Trevor White of Star Thrower Entertainment, is keeping things close to familiar territory. He previously worked with the Whites and screenwriter Pat Cunnane on A24’s Eternity, which wrapped recently and is already building awards buzz.

Paramount’s faith in Teller has only grown since Top Gun: Maverick blew up worldwide, pulling in $1.4 billion and becoming one of the highest-grossing films ever domestically, even overtaking Titanic.

Teller’s run with the studio also includes his standout performance as producer Al Ruddy in The Offer for Paramount+, and he’s currently attached to their planned An Officer and a Gentleman remake.

Outside of Paramount, Teller’s been busy. He reteamed with Only the Brave and Maverick director Joseph Kosinski for Netflix’s sci-fi thriller Spiderhead, and he just wrapped filming on Michael, Lionsgate’s Michael Jackson biopic, as well as Eternity, where he stars alongside Elizabeth Olsen and Callum Turner.
