Movie Flash Ezra Miller Talks About THE FLASH CW Series
I'm still sort of stunned that Ezra Miller is playing The Flash in the DC Cinematic Universe movies, just because he seems to be such an "out of left field" choice for the role. He's spoken a bit before about being cast as the Scarlet Speedster, but since his solo movie is still a few years away, he hasn't said much else about playing the superhero.
MTV sat down with him and asked him about his take on the role, as well as whether or not he's avoiding the very popular CW TV series:
Miller brings up the idea of parallel universes, and I'm not entirely if that's an actor babbling about something he doesn't fully understand or if he has some insider knowledge that this is legitimately the thought process of the folks at DC and Warner Bros. Will we see Grant Gustin's Barry Allen share the big screen with Miller's Barry Allen in a movie one day? I suppose anything is possible.
I've seen a lot of fan disappointment out there with Miller's casting, but let's remember what happened when people underestimated Heath Ledger as The Joker when he was first cast in The Dark Knight. I'm not ready to pass any judgment on Miller as Barry Allen until I see him in action.
